Zoos and Aquariums California is home to wide range of zoos
and aquariums several of which are world class
destinations. Many of these facilities also have beautiful gardens
featuring lush
vegetation and thousands of plants from around the world. Northern
California has the San Francisco Zoo which is the
largest zoological park in
the area. Central California is home to the Monterey Bay Aquarium
one of California's most visited
attractions.

California

San Diego Zoo
which is rated as one of the best zoos in the world. Spending the

Sacramento
Zoo - The "Little Zoo in the Park" opened
in 1927. The focus of the zoo has shifted from showcasing
