Destination Guide to the Golden State California Day Trips
Orange Empire Railway Museum
Visitors can ride on the classic trolleys, passenger trains and other equipment of Southern California's railroad past. The museum railway operates every weekend and on most major holidays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Museum grounds contain numerous buildings, parks and outdoor areas to explore. There is also a Kids Zone activities area where they can play with the lights and bells of crossing guards. You will also find plenty of shady tables to have a picnic or rest your feet while wondering around the collection of trains and trolley cars.
