Laguna
Beach is one of the most picture perfect beach towns
in Southern California. The city has so far resisted high-rise
hotels and condos and looks much the same as it did in the
1960s. Pacific Coast Highway winds down the center off town
lined with art galleries, shops and restaurants. The most visited
beach is Main beach right downtown. The beach has a wooden
boardwak with lots of benches to sit and relax on. A short
drive down PCH will give you access to some smaller beach coves
and tide pools. Head up Laguna Canyon and you pass by the world
famous Festival of Arts and the summer Sawdust Festival. Much
of the canyon is open space with hiking and mountain bike trails
open to the public. Laguna Beach is a great place to the spend
a day or an entire vacation.
