Hilmar Cheese Company Factory Tour

Hilmar Cheese Company is the largest producer of natural American-style cheese and whey products in the world. Free self-guided tours are available anytime the visitors center is open.

School and group tours need to be set up in advance. You can go upstairs and look out at the factory through viewing windows and watch the employees manufacture the cheese. In the visitors center you can sample Hilmar cheese and try the hands on exhibits that teach you how cheese is made.
If your still hungry after sampling cheese there is the Deli Cafe serving sandwiches, pizza and of course cheese pie.

Hilmar Cheese Company can also host wedding receptions, bridal showers, anniversaries, class reunions, baby showers and just about any other event you can think off. Hilmar Cheese has won numerous Gold medals at the California State Fair. Take time to visit this award winning factory next time you travel though California's fertile central valley.
