Fairytale
Town Park has been around since 1959. The two acre
park features play sets that represent favorite
children's books. If your looking for roller coaster and fast
ride this is not the place for you. Fairytale Town is perfect
for small children and has 25 play sets based on fairytales
and nursery rhymes. Some of the highlights of the park are: Jack & Jill
Hill A hill built for two, Jack & Jill
Hill is home to a green double slide and a real working well,
The Old Woman Who Lived In A Shoe Slide The
fastest, tallest slide at Fairytale Town and The Pirate
Ship Ahoy, mate!, Captain Hook and
Peter Pan are just over the next wave in the Pirate Ship, featuring
a moving ship's wheel, treasure
box and rope bridge.
Over 25,000 school
children visit the park each year on field trips.

Birthday
Parties at Fairytale Town are hosted in three area:
King Arthur's Castle, Sherwood Forest and McGregor's Garden.
Nearly 500 birthday
parties are hosted each year at Fairytale Town and it is one
of the most popular birthday party places in Sacramento. Several
birthday party packages are available al of which include
admission to Fairytale Town for participating children. The
park is also available after hours for company picnics, family
reunions, evening party and weddings.
