State Historic Park is a genuine California gold-mining ghost town
this picture shows most of what is left. Visitors can walk around as
much as they want. Some areas are off limits such as the stamping mill.
The dirt road leading into town can be seen in the background. Summers
are hot, winter freezing with snow.. Back
