State Historic Park is a genuine California gold-mining ghost town.
This picture shows most of what is left of Bodie, California.. Visitors
can walk around as much as they want. Some areas are off limits
such as the stamping mill. The dirt road leading into town can be
seen in the background. The state of California charges a small
admission fee which helps with the upkeep of Bodie. |
