Destination Guide to the Golden State

Aquarium of the Bay Pier 39 San Francisco

Aquarium of the Bay is located near Fisherman's Wharf at pier 39. The aquarium is split up into two sections: 'Under the Golden Gate' and 'Under the Bay'. These areas look at sea life within the San Francisco Bay and out into the Pacific Ocean. Upstairs kids can touch bat rays, leopard sharks, and tide pool animals. A visit to the aquarium will only take about an hour but their are plenty of other things to do and see nearby. Have a look online for discount coupons before you go and save on admission.
